Summary

This study tests an intravenous (IV) iron medicine called ferric derisomaltose in children aged 0 to 18 with iron deficiency anemia. It is for kids who either have chronic kidney disease or cannot take or do not respond to oral iron. The goal is to see if one or two IV doses can safely raise their hemoglobin levels. About 200 children will take part, and the study lasts about 10 weeks per child.
