Summary

This study tested two iron medicines—Ferric Carboxymaltose and Iron Sucrose—in 128 adults with chronic kidney disease and iron-deficiency anemia who are not on dialysis. The goal was to see which one raises hemoglobin and iron levels more safely. Participants received one of the treatments and were followed for 56 days.
