NCT ID NCT07503028

First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This early study tests a new treatment called CRG-002, made from stem cells that grow into insulin-producing cells. It is for people with type 1 or pancreatic diabetes who have dangerous low blood sugar episodes. The cells are placed into the body to help control blood sugar and may reduce or stop the need for insulin shots. The main goal is to check safety, but researchers will also see if it helps patients use less insulin.
