Light beam treatment trial for stubborn eyelid bumps
NCT ID NCT07405138
Summary
This study is testing whether intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy can safely and effectively treat chalazion, a common type of eyelid bump. Forty adults with chalazion will be randomly assigned to receive either real IPL treatment or a sham (fake) light treatment. Researchers will compare how well the bumps shrink or disappear in both groups over four weeks.
