Could a flash of light zap away eyelid bumps?

NCT ID NCT07039461

Summary

This study tested whether intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment could safely reduce or resolve chalazion, which are small, often painless bumps on the eyelid. Researchers compared real IPL treatment against a fake (sham) treatment in a small group of adults with recent chalazion. The trial ended early after enrolling only 4 participants, so results are limited.
