New pill tested to slow scarring lung disease
NCT ID NCT05671835
Summary
This study tested a new oral medication called TTI-101 for people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a disease that causes permanent scarring in the lungs. For 12 weeks, 100 participants took either the drug or a placebo pill to see how safe it was and how their bodies processed it. The main goal was to check for side effects, not to prove the drug could improve lung function.
