Summary

This study tested whether a new drug called PLN-74809 could reduce the buildup of scar tissue in the lungs of people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Ten participants took either the drug or a placebo pill daily for 12 weeks. Researchers used special PET/MRI scans to measure changes in lung scarring before and after treatment.
