Summary

This study looked at whether a special nerve block (IPACK) combined with a steroid injection into the knee can reduce pain in people with advanced knee osteoarthritis. 98 adults over age 40 with severe knee pain despite other treatments received the combination. Their pain was measured before and 1 month after the injection using standard pain scales.
