Summary
This study tested a new device called the iotaSOFT Insertion System, which helps surgeons place the electrode array during cochlear implant surgery in children. Twenty children aged 9 months to 12 years with hearing loss took part. The main goal was to see if the device is safe and works well, with follow-up for 30 days after surgery.
