Researchers test bone injection for better scans

NCT ID NCT01531686

Summary

This study aimed to see if injecting CT scan contrast dye directly into a patient's arm bone (bone marrow) is a safe and effective way to get clear images. It observed a small group of adults who already had this type of access placed as part of their normal care. The goal was to gather information on whether this method works well and causes any problems.
