First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether an electronic health record alert can help doctors order genetic tests for people newly diagnosed with advanced non-small cell lung cancer before they start treatment. About 260 patients from several Penn Medicine locations will take part. The goal is to see if the alert makes test results available sooner, helping doctors choose the best treatment.
