Summary
This study tests a new numbing method called intraseptal anesthesia for gum surgery. It involves a small injection of a common dental anesthetic (articaine with epinephrine) to see if it works as well as or better than standard numbing. The study includes 60 adults with gum disease who need flap surgery or gum removal. The goal is to measure pain relief and the area numbed, aiming to make dental procedures more comfortable.
