Summary

This study looked at whether a nose spray medicine called midazolam can help calm preschool children (ages 2-6) before they have surgery to remove their tonsils and adenoids. The goal was to make the children less anxious and more comfortable before anesthesia. The study included 100 children and measured sedation levels using the Glasgow Coma Scale.
