First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a clot-busting drug called tenecteplase directly into the brain artery can improve blood flow in tiny vessels after the main clot is removed. About 20 adults with severe stroke from a large blockage will receive the drug during their standard procedure. The goal is to see if this extra step leads to better recovery and less brain damage.
