First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tested whether a special website could help people who had melanoma (a type of skin cancer) do a better job protecting their skin from the sun and checking their skin for new or returning cancers. About 485 people who had been treated for early-stage melanoma took part. The study compared those who used the website to those who did not, to see if the website improved sun safety habits and thoroughness of skin self-exams.
