Summary
This study compares two weight-loss approaches: intermittent fasting (eating very little two days a week) combined with a Mediterranean diet versus a daily low-calorie diet. Researchers want to see which method better reduces harmful belly fat and liver fat in 260 middle-aged adults. Participants must be 35-69, have a BMI of 25-40, and live on Oahu, Hawaii.
