Summary
This study tested whether the natural groove between the buttocks can help doctors find the correct spot for spinal anesthesia in pregnant women. 100 women at 37 weeks or more of pregnancy took part. The goal was to see if this simple landmark works as well as ultrasound for guiding the needle.
