Can intensive speech therapy unlock clearer speech faster for kids?

NCT ID NCT05929859

Summary

This study is testing whether a more intensive speech therapy schedule works better than a traditional one for school-age children who have persistent difficulty saying certain sounds like 'r' and 's'. Researchers will compare two groups: one gets therapy twice a week for 8 weeks, while the other gets the same total hours of therapy packed into just 4 weeks. The goal is to find the most effective schedule to help children improve their speech clarity and communication.
