First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looked at whether two treatments that target insulin resistance can help people with pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH). 73 adults with PAH were given one of the treatments or a placebo for 12 weeks. The main goal was to see if they could walk farther in six minutes or improve their daily function. The study aimed to find new ways to manage PAH, not to cure it.
