New insulin put to the test against humalog in healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT07165652
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study compared a new insulin called NKF-INS(L) with two approved versions of Humalog (US and EU) in 54 healthy men. The goal was to see if the new insulin is absorbed and works similarly in the body. Participants received a single dose of each insulin in random order, and their blood sugar levels were carefully monitored. This was a Phase 1 trial, meaning it focused on safety and how the drug behaves, not on treating any disease.
