NCT ID NCT07540975
First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether non-diabetic patients having pancreas surgery can safely avoid routine insulin afterward. About 290 adults will be randomly assigned to get either standard insulin or no routine insulin, with blood sugar closely monitored. The goal is to see if skipping insulin keeps blood sugar under control while reducing low blood sugar episodes and other complications. Results could simplify recovery for many patients.
