Anal cancer study aims to reduce side effects by skipping groin radiation

Summary
This study is for people with early-stage anal cancer that has not spread to the groin lymph nodes. It tests whether avoiding radiation to the groin is as effective as standard treatment while causing fewer side effects and improving quality of life. About 45 participants will receive tailored radiotherapy and be followed for up to 3 years to check for cancer recurrence and overall well-being.
