First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether training the muscles used for breathing could help tennis players with shoulder pain. 40 adult tennis players with shoulder pain were split into two groups: one did specific breathing exercises for 8 weeks, and the other did not. The researchers measured changes in diaphragm thickness, breathing strength, and shoulder pain before and after the program.
