First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a simple breathing exercise program can reduce symptoms and improve quality of life in people with non-erosive reflux disease (NERD). Sixty adults with NERD will either do high-resistance breathing training or a sham version at home for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure symptom severity and breathing strength before and after the program.
