NCT ID NCT07662603
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a 12-week program of daily breathing exercises can improve lung function and reduce fatigue in adolescents with Behcet disease who have had lung surgery. Forty participants will do inspiratory muscle training at home, six days a week. Researchers will measure changes in breathing tests and fatigue levels to see if the program helps recovery.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a simple breathing exercise program to improve lung function and reduce fatigue in Behcet disease patients after lung surgery.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 40 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The intervention is a non-drug exercise program, so benefits may be modest.
