New hip stem under the microscope: will it last?

Summary

This study looks at how well the Insignia hip stem fits and survives in 100 adults getting a total hip replacement. Researchers will review X-rays to check for gaps between the stem and bone. The goal is to see if the stem works as intended and to spot any early signs of loosening.
