First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests an investigational nasal spray called INNA-051 to see if it can safely prevent or reduce the severity of viral respiratory infections like colds and flu. About 1,100 healthy adults aged 18 to 45 who are at higher risk due to their living or work conditions will receive either the spray or a placebo once a week for 4 or 12 weeks. The goal is to find out if the spray can lower the chance of getting sick and how well people tolerate it.
