Own blood used to speed up gum surgery recovery
NCT ID NCT07174934
Summary
This study is testing if applying a substance made from a patient's own blood, called injectable platelet-rich fibrin (i-PRF), can help gums heal better after surgery to remove excess gum tissue. It will compare healing in people who receive the i-PRF treatment after surgery to those who have surgery alone. The goal is to see if this treatment reduces pain and improves the look and feel of the healing gums.
