Summary

This early-stage study tests a new injectable birth control called levonorgestrel butanoate in 136 healthy women aged 18 to 40. The goal is to see how the drug works in the body and how well it prevents pregnancy. Participants receive one of three doses by injection under the skin or into muscle, and researchers monitor hormone levels and ovulation.
