Can a simple training stop elderly from misusing lifesaving inhalers?
NCT ID NCT07381166
Summary
This study is testing whether providing training on how to use a metered-dose inhaler, combined with regular phone reminders, can help elderly patients stick to their prescribed medication routine. It will involve 64 people aged 65 and older who are already using this type of inhaler but are making at least one mistake in their technique. The goal is to see if better training and reminders lead to more correct inhaler use and better adherence to treatment plans.
