Can a simple lesson keep kids out of the ER?
NCT ID NCT05555134
Summary
This study tested whether teaching children with bronchospasm (a type of breathing difficulty) and their parents how to properly use an inhaler chamber device could reduce trips to the emergency room. Researchers compared two groups: one that received special training plus usual care, and one that received only usual care. They followed 121 children aged 2-15 for six months to see if the training made a difference.
