Summary

This study is testing an inhaled drug called SNG001 for patients who are critically ill with viral pneumonia and on a breathing machine (ventilator). The goal is to see if the drug is safe and if it can help the body clear the virus faster, reduce time on the ventilator, and lower the risk of death compared to standard care alone. The study has two parts, first checking safety in older patients, then testing effectiveness in a broader group of very sick patients.
