New inhaled powder tested for scarred lungs
NCT ID NCT07344558
Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and how the body processes a new inhaled powder version of a drug called nintedanib in people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a serious lung-scarring disease. The trial will enroll about 24 patients to see if inhaling the drug is safe and well-tolerated compared to a placebo. The main goal is to find the right dose and check for side effects like breathing problems after using the inhaler.
