Breathing treatment tested to halt dangerous allergy attacks

NCT ID NCT07038746

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether inhaling epinephrine (adrenaline) can quickly stop serious allergic reactions that happen during allergy testing or treatment. The research will involve up to 100 people aged 12 and older who experience moderate to severe reactions during planned allergy procedures. Doctors will measure how fast the inhaled treatment resolves allergy symptoms compared to standard care.
