First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special heat-sensing camera can tell if a pain-blocking injection is working in children aged 3 months to 6 years having hernia surgery. Researchers will measure temperature differences on the skin to predict if the block is successful. The goal is to find a better way to manage pain in young patients.
