First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving patients an information sheet during a doctor's visit for a respiratory infection (like bronchitis or sinusitis) can reduce antibiotic prescriptions and improve communication. About 1,144 adults in Danish general practices will either receive the sheet or usual care. The goal is to see if this simple tool helps doctors prescribe antibiotics more wisely.
