First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study is looking at whether certain markers in the blood can help predict which children will feel sick or vomit after surgery to fix an undescended testicle. Researchers will measure these markers before surgery and then watch 170 children for nausea and vomiting afterward. The goal is to see if these markers can be used to identify children who might need extra medicine to prevent sickness.
