New hope for little ones: daily pill aims to boost growth in common dwarfism

NCT ID NCT07169279

Summary

This study is testing whether a daily oral medicine called infigratinib is safe and can help improve growth and development in infants and toddlers under 3 years old with achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism. Researchers will compare the medicine to a placebo (a pill with no medicine) to see if it helps children grow taller, improve body proportions, and reach developmental milestones. The goal is to find a treatment that can help manage the condition from a very young age.
