Smart jumpsuit could reveal secrets of baby brain development

NCT ID NCT05782673

Summary

This study is testing whether a special jumpsuit with movement sensors can be used to track how babies develop motor skills in their own homes in rural Malawi. About 100 infants will wear the suit during play several times from 6 to 18 months old. Researchers will then check the children's development at around 2 years old to see if early movement patterns predict later thinking and learning skills.
