Baby moves may reveal future milestones

NCT ID NCT07296003

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study watches how preterm and full-term babies move in their first months to see if these movements can predict their motor, thinking, and sensory skills at 18 and 36 months old. Researchers will score early movements from videos and later ask parents about their child's development. The goal is to find early signs that could guide therapy for babies who might need extra support.
