Scientists test scan to see how Babies' cells make energy

NCT ID NCT03976596

Summary

This small, terminated study aimed to test if a special type of MRI scan could reliably measure how well cells produce energy in healthy newborn babies. The goal was to see if the scan gave consistent results when repeated a few days apart. Only two healthy, full-term infants between 2 and 4 weeks old were enrolled to check if this measurement method was feasible.
