Special baby formula tested to boost Newborns' immunity against colds
NCT ID NCT06158659
Summary
This study tested whether a new infant formula containing two special ingredients (lactoferrin and HMO) could help prevent colds and flu in healthy newborns. Researchers compared 240 babies split into three groups: one group got the new formula, one got regular formula, and one was breastfed. They tracked how often the babies got sick over 12 months to see if the new formula made a difference.
