First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study follows 200 infants from birth to 18 months to see how and when they naturally pick up and get rid of C. difficile bacteria in their gut. Researchers will collect stool samples and track diet changes to understand what helps clear the bacteria. The goal is to learn more about gut health in babies, not to test any treatment.
