First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving radiation only to the specific neck areas where cancer has spread can reduce side effects and improve quality of life for people with nasopharyngeal cancer, without lowering survival chances. About 470 newly diagnosed patients will be assigned to either standard or personalized radiation. The goal is to see if the tailored approach causes fewer radiation-related problems while keeping the cancer from coming back.
