Summary

This study tested a personalized brain stimulation technique in 9 people with amphetamine addiction. The approach used closed-loop transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) based on individual brain activity. The goal was to improve executive control, which helps people resist drug use. The study compared this new method to traditional open-loop stimulation.
