New app aims to tackle smoking crisis in native communities

NCT ID NCT06145763

Summary

This study is testing whether a new smartphone app called IndigeQuit is more effective than an existing app at helping American Indians and Alaska Natives quit smoking. Researchers are comparing the two apps in 776 participants who want to quit smoking. The goal is to provide better, more accessible support for communities that face much higher rates of smoking-related cancers and deaths.
