NCT ID NCT06182475

First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026

Summary

This study explores how Black and Caucasian patients with kidney disease talk with their transplant doctors during evaluation visits. Researchers will record these conversations and survey patients to find out which communication styles lead to more live donor kidney transplants. The goal is to use these findings to train doctors to communicate more effectively, especially with Black patients, who often face greater barriers to transplant.
