First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking one additional biopsy from a specific part of the stomach (the incisura) helps doctors more accurately identify patients with advanced chronic gastritis, a condition that can raise the risk of stomach cancer. About 400 adults undergoing upper endoscopy will be enrolled. The goal is to improve staging and build a database for future AI-assisted diagnosis.
