New hope for tough cancers: first test of targeted drug for KRAS mutation
NCT ID NCT06179160
Summary
This is the first study in people to test a new drug called INCB161734, which is designed to target a specific genetic change (KRAS G12D mutation) found in some advanced solid tumors. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see how well the drug is tolerated, both by itself and when combined with other cancer therapies. The study will enroll about 710 adults whose cancer has progressed despite standard treatments or who have no other good options.
