Early cancer drug trial halted after testing in just 3 patients
NCT ID NCT04674748
Summary
This was an early-stage study to check the safety and find a safe dose of an experimental oral drug called INCB086550 for Japanese patients with advanced solid tumors that had stopped responding to standard treatments. The study was terminated early and only enrolled three participants. Its main goal was to understand how the body processes the drug and identify side effects, not to test how well it fights cancer.
